Over a forty-year legal career – whether as defense counsel, plaintiff’s counsel, U. S.Attorney or federal district court judge – Sandy Mattice has either handled, or presided over, nearly every variety of civil action that comes before a federal or state court.

Sandy is available to consult with clients and/or their lawyers in an advisory or “local counsel” capacity, as well as to represent clients principally, either individually or as part of a team, as the particular dispute may dictate.

Given the length and depth of his experience, Sandy is able to quickly assess a dispute and guide the client to the most favorable, cost-effective, and efficient means of resolution available, whether it be settlement, ADR or litigation. If the latter, few lawyers in the country possess the level of trial experience Sandy can bring to bear. Beyond that, Sandy has argued numerous cases before appellate courts, including theTennessee Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court and the United StatesCourt of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
